Real Housewives Alum Kara Keough Pays Tribute To Son Who Passed Away At Birth

In April, Real Housewives of Orange County alum Jeana Keough’s daughter Kara Keough shared some truly devastating news. Kara’s son McCoy died shortly after he was born. He was Kara and husband Kyle Bosworth’s second child. They have a daughter named Decker Kate Bosworth.

In the few short weeks after the tragedy, the RHOC alum has been very open about the loss on social media.

Recently, Kara shared a black and white photo of herself, Kyle, and McCoy on social media. She wrote, “You would have been 3 weeks old today.”

She envisioned the life she would have had, writing, “You would be ‘waking up’ and showing us more of you. I would be getting the hang of being a mom of two. My milk would be regulating to your schedule. Your sister would be asking questions about your belly button and you would have peed on her at least once by now. Daddy would be sending texts to his football buddies about how our giant baby boy could probably already out-lift them. We would be laughing that you never fit into newborn diapers, not even for one day. I’d be exhausted, leaking, and happy. ”

Then, Kara wrote, “Instead… we’re missing you. To all my fellow ‘instead’ mamas…. thank you for reminding me that we’re not alone, and that we can survive this. He didn’t, but we have to. And we will.”

Vicki Gunvalson responded, “Oh Kara, you are in my thoughts daily. I’m so glad you took so many photos. He will never be forgotten. Peace be with you all. So sad.” Gretchen Rossi commented, “Sending you so much love. Our hearts just break for you guys.” Former New Jersey Housewife Jacqueline Laurita wrote, “Beautiful picture! Sending you hugs and prayers. Wishing you comfort and strength. XOXO.”

Previously, Kara shared a photo with some beautiful flowers and a container of her son’s ashes. She wrote, “Welcome home, baby boy.”

Our hearts go out to the Keough/Bosworth family members at this time. It is brave of her to be so open and honest about this. There are many others who can relate to what she is going through right now.
