Braunwyn Windham-Burke Shares Regrets From Real Housewives Of Orange County;Hopes Her Kids Don’t See Makeouts With Castmate Tamra Judge

Braunwyn Windham-Burke isn’t coming back to Real Housewives of Orange County, but that doesn’t mean we are rid of her just yet.

I would count Braunwyn as one of those housewives who flamed out pretty fast. Much faster than she expected, I’m sure. As a newbie, she was the constant underdog being kicked by a threatened Vicki Gunvalson. But when she came back for her second season, she was guns blazing with a whole new attitude. Which including throwing drinks in pools when she got really heated. Off camera she was quite the showman as well, being accused of regularly calling the press on herself. She tried hard to work that 15 minutes and when they were up, all that was left was an eviction notice. No amount of press could bring her back for another season and it doesn’t seem like any fans were really upset about it either.

So now Braunwyn is stuck looking backwards at her time on RHOC. She recently spoke with Us Weekly and revealed some of her highs and lows on the show.

One thing she looks back on with a cringe is a particular fashion choice she made. On her double decker bus ride with her castmates, she famously broke down after fighting with Tamra Judge. But that’s not what she regrets. It was her outfit. Braunwyn admitted, “That Hawaiian shirt with the visor on the bus where I was crying. That’s an easy one! Mine was polyester, there was the visor. If you’re gonna have a breakdown, have a breakdown in Prada.”

But one major moment that sticks out for her are her onscreen makeouts with Tamra. Braunwyn noted that she hopes her kids don’t see it for themselves. Of the making out, she said, “So, yeah, that happened. Whoops.” Whoops indeed.

Braunwyn also divulged that she regrets saying so much about her recovery off-camera. But recovery does have its benefits. Braunwyn said she can happily look back on being kind and staying sober. She added, “You can never be too nice. Nice goes a long way.” Well, RHOC or not, she can continue to take that path. And leave the drama in her past.
