Meghan King is no stranger to trolls. Being a housewife, it kind of comes with the territory. But Meghan is years removed from Real Housewives of Orange County, yet her personal life has often been the subject or online hate. Many were quick to criticize her quickie wedding to Cuffe Owens, especially after hearing that the couple only dated for 3 weeks before their nuptials. So Meghan naturally received even more ire from fans when she announced their split only two months later.

In an Instagram story to her 1 million followers, Meghan addressed the split. Her statement read in part, “This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows — and I’m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out. I am moving forward with my children as we privately process our pain and begin to let go of shattered dreams.” So Meghan is doing what she can to move on. She is a mom and has three little kids to tend to. At this point, what else can we expect from her. But apparently that isn’t good enough for some.

As reported by Us Weekly, Meghan posted an Instagram video of her yoga routine. She captioned the post, “Warrior your way through your first day back to real life in 2022. It’s gonna be OK. We will do this even if we look or feel silly at times and even if the world is watching. We are I. This together. I love you.”

Some fans were happy to see that she was being so candid about what she is going through. One user wrote, “So many people made so many mean comments towards you. In 2022, work on being KIND folks. We are all doing our best to figure this thing called life out. Wishing you and your family all the best Meghan.”

But that didn’t stop people from trying to tear Meghan down. Another commenter complained, “Except she is trying to figure out for likes … she needs to heal and get off social media.” To which Meghan quickly replied, “How about I decide what’s good for me and you follow along or don’t?” You tell ’em, Meghan.

Yes, it’s easy to look at her going about her day to day life and wonder why she is putting it out there. But for her, maybe putting it out there on social media IS healing. Everyone’s pain looks different and we are all entitled to handle it how we see fit. Even Meghan.
