There’s nothing more I enjoy than a friendly housewives tussle. Sure, the drama is why we tune in, but the off screen fun always gives me a dose of serotonin. Especially when a crossover is involved. In the latest instance of housewives social media gone wrong, Kyle Richards got a little slap on the wrist from Karen Huger.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and Real Housewives of Potomac OG recently attended NBC upfronts in New York. Upfronts are used by the network to promote programming plans for the upcoming tv seasons. In a now deleted post, Kyle posted a pic of her and her Real Housewives counterparts on the streets of NYC. The picture featured Kyle with Garcelle Beauvais, Teresa Giudice, Alexia Echevarria, Gizelle Bryant, and Kenya Moore. Apparently, Karen was on the end and got cropped out. The Grande Dame of Potomac, who posted the uncropped pic on her own Instagram, noticed Kyle’s mistake and called her out in the comments.
The fan account All About The Real Housewives captured the exchange and reposted it to their followers. Karen tagged Kyle and wrote, “WELL! I thought I looked super cute that day!” She added a kissy face emoji. Kyle responded, “I stole this photo from an IG page and then saw later there is one with you in it! that is why I posted it to my story after.” Kyle also ended with a kissy face emoji to keep it light. Karen replied, “Ok queen.” Another kissy emoji. Kyle concluded the exchange and wrote, “Adore you!!!!” with four hearts.
Kyle later deleted the photo missing Karen and posted a new one, with everyone featured. Fans who saw the reposted exchange took to the comments with their takes. One user wrote, “Kyle was there when the pic was taken. The ‘clueless’ act is ridiculous at this point.” Another added, “Was that shade Kyle?” But others were willing to give Kyle the benefit of the doubt. The fan commented, “Lmao I’m sure it was an accident.” And another user said of Kyle, “You are so sweet you correct all your mistakes and own it up and make it up your positive vibe is so sweet.”
Regardless of what the public thinks, it seems like there is no bad blood between the two. And I’m hoping they had a good laugh about it.
