Andy Cohen Says His Kids Can Use His Remaining Embryos When They Grow Up

Full house! Between all the changes happening at Bravo and welcoming his second child, Andy Cohen is undoubtedly pressed for time. But fatherhood has been good to him and he’s leaned in, and he’s recently admitted that he’s trying to slow down and enjoy his little family.

There’s no doubt that Andy loves his kids. So much so that he’s willing to give them an unconventional gift when they are older. As reported by E! News, Andy went on Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis Live to explain. The Watch What Happens Live host told Jeff Lewis of his remaining embryos, “I think I have three left. You know what I’m thinking? This is crazy, but if either of them cannot have kids, maybe in 20 years they’ll defrost their sibling and raise them. Is that a weird thought?”

Both son Ben Cohen and daughter Lucy Cohen were born via surrogate. And while they were different surrogates, Andy noted that they are “biological siblings.” Which is blatantly obvious to Andy as they learn to interact with each other. According to Andy, Ben is fully in the “threenager” stage. Said Andy, “It ain’t pretty. And now he has a new sister that he wants to kill. He loves her, but he is trying to kill her.”

To make up for it, Andy is trying to spend plenty of time with Ben to give him the attention he likely needs. He explained, “The crazy thing is, by design, I am spending so much time with him. Because, by the way, she doesn’t know what’s happening. I sit with her for a few hours a day and I’m like ‘Just smell me. Hear my voice. This is me, I’m your dad.’ But with him, I’m really in there with and I don’t even know if it’s registering how much time I’m spending with him.”

Lucy made her debut in late April, with Andy announcing the happy news on his Instagram account. Andy captioned a snap of him holding his newborn baby girl, “HERE’S LUCY!!!!! Meet my daughter, Lucy Eve Cohen! She’s 8 pounds 13 oz and was born at 5:13 pm in New York City!!! Her big brother can’t wait to meet her! Thank you to my rock star surrogate (ALL surrogates are rockstars, by the way) and everyone who helped make this miracle happen. I’m so happy.” Adorably, the name Lucy Eve is likely a nod to his beloved parents, Lou and Evelyn.

Lucy even made her WWHL debut when Andy shared a video of him rocking her. He gushed to his audience, “There she is! Hi, Lucy. Say hi to Watch What Happens Live.”
