Danielle Olivera Inspired to ‘Stop Getting Involved’ With Other People’s Drama in Winter House Season 3

Danielle Olivera is a Summer House vet mainly driven by the antics of her co-stars. While she might not be a stand-alone force in Montauk, she appears to be changing the game in Winter House.

Poor Danielle went through it the last season of Summer House when she was ditched by best friend Lindsay Hubbard amid drama with Carl Radke. Thankfully they’ve mended ways but Winter House was filming before Linds and Dani repaired their friendship. She learned her lesson about dabbling in other people’s business and switched it up in Steamboat Springs. Entertainment Tonight has the scoop.

No drama for Danielle

Before heading to the wintry mix of a new group of people, Danielle decided to keep her nose clean. “I really gave myself a talking to before landing in Steamboat Springs, and just said, ‘Listen, if you’re gonna have a good time, be selfish. Make it about you and you only, and don’t involve yourself and other people’s s**t,” she said. Atta girl, have fun because stress causes early aging.

Danielle added, “It hasn’t gone very well for you in the past, so stop doing it. So that’s what I did.” This means Danielle restrained herself from texting Katie Maloney every time Tom Schwartz derpy dogged his way over to Katie Flood. And Macklemore impersonator Kory Keefer giving his best Mackleless is on his own while he makes googly eyes at Malia White and Jordan Emanuel.

“I said, you know what, Kory? In my head I’m like, Kory, if you’re gonna dig yourself that hole, man, you’re an adult — have at it,” Danielle shared. No way is Danielle making the same mistake twice. She was incredibly hurt after Lindsay and Carl brushed her off.

“My behavior wasn’t so despicable, it was just very opinionated. I was very passionate, because I am such a — what I would would think is a — loyal friend, and my intention was good, and my heart was in the right place, even though my execution and level of tact wasn’t there,” she explained. Maybe, just maybe there was a twinge of jealousy that her ex and her best friend were together.

That said, Danielle didn’t want to see Lindsay and Carl fall to pieces. ”I did not want this [the break up] to be the outcome. I’ve always wanted them to end up together, but … I wanted them to communicate more. I wanted them to figure out certain things out before planning a wedding, but you know what? Better, I keep saying, you’re better off not having walked down the aisle.”

To Alex, or not to Alex …

As for Danielle, she may or may not be keeping warm with Alex Propson during her two-week Winter House stay. “I was trying not to at first. But his well-conditioned hair, the mountain air, it was just… I don’t know! There’s like a twinkle in his eye, and then there’s like, eventually, some guy-liner involved. I’m just, like, I’m weak. I’m so weak.” Sounds like Alex knows the right aisles to shop at CVS. Stay tuned.

Winter House airs Tuesdays at 9 PM/ET on Bravo.
