Captain Lee Reveals Tom Sandoval Ignored Shared BravoCon Prep Call as He Was Busy Taking Selfies

Even though Tom Sandoval might have the test results to prove he’s not a narcissist, that won’t stop the speculation. The Vanderpump Rules star does little to conceal his vanity, no matter the situation he’s in. Now, Captain Lee is having his say on Sandoval.

How will Sandy’s appearance at BravoCon go over? It’s hard to imagine any fans (beyond a small minority) will be there to support Tom. Not to mention how fellow Bravo stars might treat him.

It certainly didn’t help Tom’s case when Bravo veteran Captain Lee started pointing out that vain behavior. Reportedly, Tom went as far as to ignore an important BravoCon prep call to indulge himself. But the Below Deck star has his own theory about Tom’s behavior.

Tom was on the treadmill for BravoCon call

On the most recent episode of his podcast Salty with Captain Lee via PodcastOne, the captain and his co-host Sam DeCavalcanti discussed preparations for BravoCon, including a shared call hosting multiple Bravolebrities. Sam revealed, “Tom Sandoval, who was on that call this week [where] we were, he was on the treadmill instead of even paying attention to the prep call.”

Captain Lee agreed and added, “Yeah, I thought the part where he was taking a selfie of himself in the mirror before he got on the call — or, no, he was on the call. He was just, like…” Sam finished his thought, “Taking a selfie. Listen, he needs to make sure he looks beautiful for BravoCon. He’s gotta get those workouts in, but he probably could’ve turned his camera off.”

However, Captain Lee argued, “It would defeat the whole purpose for him,” speculating that Tom was working out and taking selfies on the call to impress everyone else. Sam called Tom “Self-absorbed,” and the Captain agreed without hesitation. With all the vitriol against Tom, perhaps his BravoCon appearance will be more entertaining than anticipated.

BravoCon begins November 3 and ends November 5 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, with events streamed on Peacock.
