Gina Kirschenheiter Has Heard Shannon Beador Is Still Drinking: ‘She Has a Problem’

How do you solve a problem like Shannon Beador? It’s not a question anybody has an answer to. But Gina Kirschenheiter thinks rehab would be a good start. Despite being sentenced to three years of probation and 40 hours of community service for alleged DUI hit and run in September, Shannon might still be on the juice. Gina explained what she had heard in a new interview. Here’s what the Real Housewives of Orange County star had to say.

Get some help for your drinking, Shannon

Speaking on The Sarah Fraser Show, Gina was asked about Shannon’s drinking. “I think she has a problem,” she admitted. “I think all the women on the cast have thought Shannon has had a drinking problem for a while and it’s not because of her relationship with John [Janssen], it’s the booze.” Gina added: “I was hoping she would enter rehab when it [the DUI] happened but if a person doesn’t think they have a problem there’s not much you can do.”

So, has Shannon at least stopped partaking in drinking? Not according to the whispers in Gina’s ear. “Look, I have heard she’s still drinking,” Gina divulged. “I don’t like to comment on things I don’t know for a fact but has anyone asked her if she’s stopped drinking? I was surprised no one asked her at BravoCon if she quit drinking because I don’t think she has.”

Same, Gina. We’d have asked if we were invited.

Who can blame Gina for saying what’s on her mind? Shannon has been using Gina’s historic DUI as a stick to beat her with for quite some time. Now, the shoe is firmly on the other foot. At least Gina doesn’t look quite as excited to share the troubling information as her former (and now potentially future) foe.

The Real Housewives of Orange County is expected to return to Bravo in 2024.
