Phaedra Parks and Shereé Whitfield Dish on The Traitors Season 2

The Traitors Season 2 is gearing up for its big premiere, and fans will see many familiar faces, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Shereé Whitfield and Phaedra Parks. Of course, both ladies are no strangers to NBC Universal. In addition to their time on RHOA, they’ve found time to do many other spinoffs, including The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, Married to Medicine, and now this.

They aren’t the only Housewives joining the cast of The Traitors Season 2, though. Tamra Judge and Larsa Pippen are also playing, which may make you wonder: could there be an all-Housewives alliance?

“For me, I want the Housewives to win,” Shereé told Parade. “So I’m rooting for, of course, me, but I’m also rooting for my fellow Housewives.”

Are the Housewives prepared to play a game like this?

These four Real Housewives stars will be playing alongside reality competition show greats, including Big Brother’s Janelle Pierzina and Dan Gheesling, as well as Survivor winners Parvati Shallow and Sandra Diaz-Twine. Although Housewives includes some strategy (hello Monica Garcia), this show is on another level. So, how did the Atlanta ladies plan to survive?

“I just figured I’ll be me and go in, listen, keep my eyes open, ears open and just do what I do as, you know, a bone collector. I’ll collect a few bones, use them to my advantage,” Shereé said. But for Phaedra, her strategy wasn’t as detailed. “I only knew that I was coming five days ago,” she revealed.

“So I’m a late-to-the-party type of girl for this one … But it’s a lot of serious gamers on this show. Like winners of Survivor and Big Brother, so some people have been on these types of shows for like 22 seasons. Their strategy is unmatched, but I think, being a Housewife, we can play with the big dogs.”

Even though taking on this sort of challenge will be something new for this crop of Bravo ladies, Phaedra remains hopeful fans will enjoy it. “They’re going to love it,” she said. “We are from the heyday of Housewives when it was really good. No lies. So I think they will enjoy it. I mean, me and Shereé have always been cool. We got a great rapport.”

Shereé, on the other hand, said she hopes viewers can see her in another light. “I hope people see me in a different way,” she said. “We’re establishing relationships in a different way than on Housewives, so I hope they see we’re really good people, we’re genuine people, we’re not always bitchy and drama-filled. Then also, I am very fit. I love working out, so I think I can do really great with the challenges unless they put me with some rats or snakes.”

But that’s not all. If there’s one thing the Real Housewives will serve viewers, it’s a look.

“Oh yeah, we’re going to give you fashion,” Shereé added. “The fashion and beauty aside from Alan [Cumming].”

The Traitors Season 2 premieres on Peacock with its first three episodes on Friday, January 12.
