Winter House ‘On Pause’ at Bravo After Season 3

Bravo has put Winter House on ice. The Summer House spinoff is being put “on pause,” Dorinda Medley style. No more snowy antics or even frostier drama will be coming out of the crew, made up of stars from Below Deck, Southern Charm, Vanderpump Rules and beyond, for a while.

An exclusive source from Bravo revealed the news of Winter House’s pause to People. The details about the cancellation were scarce. It can only be assumed that even after moving Season 3 to Colorado, it wasn’t enough to boost the ratings on the show. It’s sad for those of us Bravoholics who will watch any and everything on the network to lose another show on the roster.

Winter House is gone but never forgotten

Winter House was a weird show from the start. It kicked off as Kyle Cooke reliving his childhood in Stowe, Vermont with his crew of rowdy friends and a busload of LoverBoys. The show seemingly never found its footing, although it gave us plenty of drama over the years. And for that, the reality TV fans should be thankful.

Without Winter House, we never would’ve been graced by the beauty of Andrea Denver. The show was crucial in Austen Kroll’s villain story as an f-boy with a habit of pitting women against each other. Sure, Season 3 was rough with Danielle Olivera’s unraveling and whatnot, but it’s sad to see it go.

Hopefully, much like Dorinda, Bravo can make it nice and hit the “unpause” button sooner rather than later. They did it with Real Housewives of Miami, so maybe Peacock can come to the rescue yet again. Winter should be chill, but definitely not this icy.

TELL US – ARE YOU SHOCKED TO HEAR THAT WINTER HOUSE IS BEING PUT ON PAUSE? WHAT WERE YOU FAVORITE MOMENTS FROM THROUGHOUT THE SHOW’S THREE SEASONS?
