Sometimes, it feels like Ariana Madix is on a rollercoaster of luck. As fans saw, Vanderpump Rules Season 10 was full of low points for the superstar, but things have only gone up since then.
Perhaps the height of Ariana’s achievements was being cast as Chicago’s Roxie Hart on Broadway. It was a moment of triumph for the star herself and her fans.
While many superfans were able to see Ariana on Broadway, most supporters weren’t so lucky. And, unfortunately, with a recent turn of events, even fewer will have had the opportunity.
Ariana apologizes to paying, traveling fans
In a recent Instagram Story, Ariana wrote, “on sunday i had a coughing fit during the show and last night my voice felt funny and started to disappear during nowadays. i’ve been resting it, steaming, doing all the things but today nothing is working and no sound comes out when i try to speak.”
She continued, “at the risk of compromising the show and causing injury to myself, i have to call out for tonight’s show. i know how far some of you travel to come and i know theatre tickets are expensive. i’m so sorry i have to do this but the show tonight will be beyond FABULOUS without me.”
Ariana concluded the story by writing, “the cast and orchestra are the absolute best in every way! i’m hoping that whatever this is goes away FAST because i hate this feeling and i don’t want to let you down.” Sickness happens. Unfortunately for Ariana, this wouldn’t be the first time she potentially disappointed fans due to illness.
At the end of 2023, Ariana lamentably informed fans that she would have to postpone her Single AF Book Tour due to COVID-19. Talk about a string of bad luck. As per The Town Hall, the tour was rescheduled for January 31, 2024.
