Andy Cohen Had ‘No Voice’ at the End of RHOP Season 8 Reunion

Let’s all take a moment of silence for Andy Cohen’s vocal cords, because it sounds like The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 8 reunion put them through the wringer.

Andy sat down with the Potomac ensemble last week to film the highly anticipated reunion. During a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, he dished about what went down. He described an all-day affair that left with him “no voice,” so it sounds like we’re about to be in for another intensely messy reunion with Andy loudly playing referee. Brace yourselves.

Is Andy yelling again?

According to Andy, the drama with the RHOP Season 8 reunion started before the ladies even got to the couches. Vice President Kamala Harris was scheduled to appear on the Sherri Shepherd show, which was filmed in the same building as the reunion. They had to adhere to all sorts of obnoxious security protocols because of the extremely special guest on the premises. Part of those measures included a 9:30 am start time, which meant the Housewives arrived at 5 am to start glam.

All of the VP drama ended up being for nothing because Kamala canceled on Sherri at the last minute. The Real Housewives of Potomac were undeterred by all of it. According to Andy, they filmed the reunion from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Andy teased, “By the end of the reunion, I had no voice. You will hear, I’m like losing my voice.”

Of course, Season 8 of RHOP has been difficult to watch because all of the ladies very clearly hate each other. Meanwhile, Karen Huger is trying to bring the group together, but she’s doing a horrible job at it. At the reunion, Andy said the directive was to make progress on the issues, one way or another.

“I think one of the flaws of this season or the flaw of this season is that there are women who aren’t able to find any common ground with some of the other women, so there are all these pockets of women that just won’t even acknowledge each other,” Andy explained.

He continued, “One of the hallmarks of the Housewives is finding a way to move forward, and so that was kind of the directive of the Potomac reunion and you will see how that went down when you see it in a few weeks.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac continues on Bravo, Sunday nights at 8/7c.
