Welcome to the first Real Housewives of Rhode Island reunion! Capping off an incredible debut season, the finale’s Block Island trip saw Liz and Jo-Ellen make up, Billy re-propose to Alicia, and Rulla break down over Brian’s affair. Months later, Brian was arrested for domestic violence after putting a tracker on Rulla’s car so she wouldn’t catch him in the act. However, she took him back after filming.
What happened on Real Housewives of Rhode Island Episode 13?
This week on Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 1 Episode 13, “Reunion Part 1,” the feuds between Rosie and Kelsey, Jo-Ellen and Rulla, and Jo-Ellen and Liz heat up. New accusations are thrown out, and the drama doesn’t stop when they break.
Everyone looks amazing, though I would personally name Ashley and Kelsey as best dressed, and Rosie as best hair and makeup. Rulla shows off her new nose. Alicia makes a joke that Brian must love it because it’s like he’s having sex with another woman!
Kelsey versus Rosie, round 3
Andy mentions fans couldn’t tell anyone apart at first, especially enemies Kelsey and Rosie. He speaks for all of us that there’s no way this feud started over a haircut. Kelsey admits she was wary of Rosie, and that confirmed her suspicions. Ashley argues it was on Kelsey to ask for a post, and that Rosie not only paid for the haircut but also referred Kelsey to other people.
Rosie maintains Kelsey gave the worst apology ever, but Kelsey thinks their apologies were the same. Rosie is still mad about the siren, even though she also brought out blueprints and measuring tape. Liz and Jo-Ellen say they thought the siren was was funny … girls, I know Kelsey’s your bestie, but don’t lie.
Rosie doesn’t really think Kelsey is a Slam Pig (a term she learned from Alicia!) but does think she’s a terrible person. She maintains Kelsey did suck dick for a living for ten years, adding that her only co-worker was the other woman in Florida. Ouch!
Kelsey still believes Rosie had an affair with that basketball coach. According to Rosie, the rumor started on Reddit because no one knew she was off the news for medical leave, but the coach actually had an affair with a student reporter.
Jo-Ellen claims that when the coach was pulled over for a DUI, Rosie’s name was in the police report! I gasped … until Jo-Ellen admits she hasn’t seen the police report, just heard things. Womp-womp.
Before Andy moves on, Liz says Rosie and Kelsey are more alike than they’ll admit. I agree!
Liz drops a bomb about Rulla and Brian
Liz is now a grandma- sorry, GG- as her stepdaughter welcomed a baby girl. Sadly, her beautiful cat Ganji passed after filming wrapped.
Rulla admits her comment about Liz not producing the kids was wrong. But she stands by her implication that Liz cheated on Gerry. However, when pressed for more information, she’s very vague, mentioning Block Island. Liz spits it out for her. To make Gerry jealous, she met up with an old flame at Block Island. The next day, Gerry got a call from Rulla and Brian! Rulla denies this, of course.
Also, Liz claims she looked even more like Dolores before her surgeries, so don’t accuse her of stealing Dolores’ face!
Ashley gives an update on Audrey’s
Ashley confirms Audrey’s got more business from RHORI, but that’s only made things more complicated! Because now Jared’s at Audrey’s 100 hours a week again. When asked about her off-camera distance from the cast, Jo-Ellen says it fair because Jared’s long hours mean Ashley’s always with the kids.
Kelsey reveals she’s followed Ashley since her Bachelor fame. Ashley calls out Kelsey for saying she didn’t make an effort to hang out, arguing it’s a two-way street. I don’t really see them becoming friends considering how close Ashley is to Rosie, though.
Ashley doesn’t cry as much as in her Bachelor days on RHORI. Though I think their cry tracker missed a few. But she does cry about how much she appreciates Rosie’s friendship, bumping the cry counter one more time.
Rulla and Jo-Ellen go at it
When Andy asks Jo-Ellen questions, she can’t get a word in without Rulla commenting. Jo-Ellen handles it beautifully. She denies Rulla’s claims that she got kicked out of college, and says that Rulla is just as messy but plays “proper police.” Rulla argues Jo-Ellen plays victim, but Jo says she owns her mess.
Jo-Ellen admits her mom is mad at her for bringing up their past on TV. As for her sister, she dismisses the flirtation with Gary as an inside joke. Also an inside joke, apparently, are the rumors she’s a swinger.
When Andy asks about Brian calling her job, Jo-Ellen says it wasn’t the reason she got laid off (a bunch of people did) but it probably didn’t help. When Rulla snarks that Jo got fired from many jobs, Jo claps back, “Why is she still here? She was in three episodes!”
When Andy calls for a break (Liz takes a hit of a vape) Rulla claims she has Brian’s surgery records that prove the time on the car dashboard was faked (but she she still hasn’t watched the video). Jo-Ellen tells her Brian is the one who uses AI to trick her, and he was still with the mistress in January! She came to the reunion with proof. A crew member warns them to save it for the cameras.
Homeless-gate continues
Liz literally remembers when Alicia was born. And Alicia grew up like sisters with Liz’s niece. They played dolls together and tried to ride a horse, but Alicia got welts. She still loves a horse, though. She’s surprised at how many people love her and her love of crackers.
Liz again argues her intent was to protect Alicia and apologizes for invalidating Alicia’s pain. Alicia was embarrassed to admit what her father did in the first place, and when Liz yelled in the car, she felt suffocated and attacked. She shakes just talking about it. Liz says sorry but that she didn’t bring it up in the car. Liz, just apologize!
Instead, she claims Jo-Ellen, Alicia, and Kelsey planned to talk about it ahead of time and ambushed her. She keeps referencing voice memos. Alicia says if her nervous breakdown was pre-planned or fake, she should get an Oscar! Jo-Ellen also says she couldn’t have pre-planned it because she was hungover from a Morgan Wallen concert (yikes).
As many predicted, Jo-Ellen and Liz aren’t past it. Suddenly, Rulla and Liz are on the same side calling Jo a liar. Jo-Ellen says Liz is just mad because she didn’t show unrelenting loyalty to her. She was trying to protect Liz from looking crazy. “So says the biggest psychopath,” Liz fires back.

Rulla: Kiss my ass!
Jo-Ellen: You don’t have an ass, your skin’s falling off.
Rulla: I don’t need to pump Ozempic to look like this!

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island drama doesn’t break for lunch
The cameras keep rolling as they break for lunch. We learn Alicia loves an avocado and a hot water. Alicia and Jo-Ellen think Liz is paranoid. Kelsey continues to play both sides and goes to see Liz.
When they return, Andy tries to ask why Liz got so mad at Jo-Ellen, but can’t even finish his question. Liz argues she takes ownership for her actions, and then proceeds not to do that. She also accuses Alicia of “pumping herself up” and doubts Alicia’s tears were genuine. Liz, this is not the way to get viewers back on your side.
At least Liz admits that she pulled Jo-Ellen’s hair and pushed her chair. But she repeatedly calls Jo-Ellen evil and that her soul rejects her energy. They reference an earlier fight about a snowsuit that Jo borrowed, which pissed Liz off after she said it smelled like smoke.
Liz again says Jo-Ellen was never her best friend, even though they just spent Mother’s Day together. Jo-Ellen acknowledges that Liz is like a stand-in for her mother, and that she needs to give up on both of them. “I’m not your Ma, babe,” Liz says.
Alicia slightly flip flops again, admitting she will love Liz no matter what. But I think the trust is gone.
Rosie calls out the RHORI clique
Speaking of moms, we get an unseen clip of Jo-Ellen and Rosie bonding over their mother issues. Jo-Ellen later told Rosie that she, Liz, and Kelsey had a group chat where they said horrible things about her. Poor Rosie! Jo-Ellen says she made them delete it but Liz, who once again calls Jo evil, says that’s not true. Kelsey admits her comment at the mansion came off backhanded, but she doesn’t exactly apologize.
Rosie admits she ignored some of Jo-Ellen’s texts after Jo mocked her “Road Trippin” YouTube series on social media. That’s when Rulla involves herself again, and all hell breaks loose.
Part 1 of the RHORI reunion ends with Rulla’s explosion
Jo-Ellen mocks Rulla for saying more at the reunion that she did on the show. Rulla calls Jo-Ellen a whore, and Jo says Brian’s the whore. Rulla flips out, stands up, and screams that Jo-Ellen sleeps with doctors. Alicia warns her about getting too worked up because she just had her face done.
“I don’t know what’s bigger, your mouth or what’s between your legs,” Rulla screams. “I’m gonna break your nose,” Jo-Ellen responds. Rulla screams that everyone knows Jo-Ellen is a whore, as Liz covers her face and goes “Rulla, no!”
Looks like things are gonna get worse for Rulla next week, because Brian’s in the hot seat.
