Candiace Dillard Bassett and Robyn Dixon are still at odds following a rocky season of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
The two have been feuding for the better part of Season 8. It all stemmed from Candiace’s past tweets. The messages slammed her co-star and her husband, Juan Dixon, over allegations about his supposed infidelity. However, Candiace felt justified because she believed there was a larger scheme to set up her man, Chris Bassett.
Fast forward to this month, and the Drive Back singer appeared on Watch What Happens Live. While there, Candiace said Robyn still needs some help living authentically in front of the cameras.
Candiace wanted to address her concerns at the RHOP reunion
As watchers have seen this season, Candy Pants has gone toe-to-toe with The Green Eyed Bandits (Robyn and Gizelle Bryant) over what she would deem clown behavior. In case you need a refresher, Candiace’s husband was the center of controversy last season when Gizelle claimed he shut her in a hotel room.
By the end of the season, the news came out that Robyn and Juan had been dealing with their own marital struggles. This, due to some apparent side-chick Juan was allegedly involved with. Understandably, Candiace was upset because she felt her husband was targeted so Robyn could avoid talking about the skeletons in her closet.
So, does she still believe that today?
“I believe that Robyn has intentionally been disingenuous, and there’s a lot I want to say at the reunion that I don’t want to say right now. But I’m not wrong for feeling the way that I feel. She has not been completely honest, and she’s not been completely open — and that [is what] I want to talk about at the reunion,” she said in response to a fan question on WWHL.
Man, oh, man. With the drama between Candiace, Robyn, and Gizelle brewing behind the scenes, this reunion will hopefully be better than the drowsy season they’re currently having.
