Buying Beverly Hills Season 2: What We Want To Know about Mauricio and Kyle’s Split

For the entirety of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13, I was tuning in to hopefully hear some form of update regarding Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards‘ separation. But week after week, I was sorely disappointed as the littlest of kernels were dropped, leading me to a dead end. However, I have hope for Mau’s show, Buying Beverly Hills, and its second season. March 22 can’t come soon enough as the Netflix hit prepares to return to the small screen. And from my understanding, Mau isn’t holding back anymore so here is hoping The Agency owner can finally spill the beans.

The trailer

The cast is back, and the trailer has already left me more excited than the 20-episode run of RHOBH. The cameras pick up as Mau shares the major stressor on his marriage, noting, “We’ve been so stressed, and obviously the travel affects us.” As fans know, the father of four has been racking up the miles due to business trips, and Kyle was not pleased about it. The trailer then turns to a family dinner with the kids, and Kyle says, “We wanted to have this conversation when we were all together, for obvious reasons. I’m really sorry, you guys.”

Okay, so the first thing I want to see is the no-holds-barred family conversation. Under no circumstances do I want to see a roundabout chitchat with triangle squares and quiet sobbing. Give us the nitty gritty, Netflix. I promise we can handle it. I know Bravo was trying to reel in the ratings by showing their version of a family discussion, but it really just annoyed me and fellow fans that they left us hanging. So…show us the conversation already!

Let’s hear Mau’s side

We already know that The Agency is outperforming the real estate market by a lot, but I need to see Mau outperforming Kyle at this rate. During the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Mauricio hardly said a word in defense when it came to their separation. But his body language spoke volumes since he always had his head hanging down when there was a serious chat. But Buying Beverly Hills Season 2 is set to open more doors into his side of the story.

We know Mau is on the hunt for a new home since he will be moving out, but it is nice to hear his thoughts on the divorce process. The trailer caught the father sharing with coworkers that “She wanted the separation,” which leads me to believe that Mau wanted to fight for the relationship. I also think it would be interesting to understand what he thinks upended their marriage. Most of us, including myself, believe he cheated, but if that isn’t the case, then let us know!

What do the daughters think?

I am so curious about Sophia Umansky, Alexia Umanksy, and Farrah Aldjufrie‘s reaction to their parents’ split. Luckily, we should get their reaction in Season 2. The trailer showed Mau talking to his daughters as he shared, “I had an amazing 26 years with your mom, and I wanted to do everything possible to just save it. Your mom came, and she talked to me and said, ‘I think I need space. She said to me, ‘Listen, the rules are: you go out, you date, you do whatever it is you want to do. I’m not going to be asking you what you’re doing; I don’t want you to be asking me what I’m doing. We are separated.'”

Until now, the public hasn’t heard their opinions since no one has commented other than what Kyle has really stated. But for the daughters to continue to film with their father would indicate to me that Mau didn’t cheat. I know I’m sounding hypocritical since above, I said I think he did. But I have to follow the leads. I like that they have a relationship with the girls, telling their dad they are proud of him. But will they keep thinking that as the season progresses? We are going to have to tune in and find out!
