What was heavily rumored has now been confirmed: Ariana Madix is officially the new host of Love Island USA! The Vanderpump Rules star took to social media to confirm the news, joking that she “can’t wait to stir up some trouble in paradise.” While we await more news surrounding Love Island USA Season 6, this announcement has Bravo fans VERY excited.
Ariana drops a Love Island USA bombshell
“Talk about a bombshell,” Ariana started. “This summer, I’m trading rhinestone buckles for bikinis,” she quipped. Ariana then officially announced she’ll be hosting Season 6 of Love Island USA, set to stream this summer on Peacock.
Ariana is a Love Island superfan, and made her debut on the show in 2023 with a special cameo. She hosted a game for the couples in the villa, asking some intimate questions of the contestants about their dates.
She also wasn’t afraid to delve into her own messy former relationship with Tom Sandoval. While appearing, she encouraged contestants to figure out if they were on the right path with their significant other. “If they’re not the one for you, trust me, it’s better to find out sooner rather than later,” Ariana said.
Since Scandoval blew up her life, Ariana has been riding an incredible wave of success. She’s competed on Dancing with the Stars, appeared in Chicago on Broadway, and taken up countless other opportunities.
Sarah Hyland previously revealed she would be bowing out of hosting duties on the show after Season 5. The Modern Family actress took to Instagram on March 27, saying another project she had committed to conflicted “directly with the shooting dates for Love Island USA.”
