Ciara Miller, the fresh-faced model of Summer House, knows she is sexy. But I am impressed with how she doesn’t always wear skimpy lingerie to the house’s theme parties. While Lindsay Hubbard and Paige DeSorbo, might wear something more breezy, Ciara is all about showing off her personality rather than some extra skin.
On Ciara’s Instagram, there are plenty of Sports Illustrated-like photos. However, she definitely shows another side of her personality. While her best friend Paige excels at bed sitting, Ciara clearly has a talent for costume design and if reality TV should ever fail her, she might just have another talent to fall back on. Ciara’s often comical costume choices are leaving a lasting impression on viewers who can’t wait to see how she will top the last theme.
Disco queen
The Summer House is already ready to get down, and the 70’s Disco-themed party only enhanced Ciara’s costume-choice abilities. Everyone glammed up for the party, but when Ciara waltzed into the room in her bronze bedazzled dress, everyone’s jaws dropped. Ciara also rocked a “bitchin” afro, as she nicknamed herself Karma Brown—Bam!
According to Ciara, “Karma is a little bit spicier. She’s here to have a good time and not get involved in all the drama.” Along with some very high stilettos and aviator gold sunglasses, Ciara embraced her 70s alter ego which had the entire house in awe. Karma also enjoyed dancing and made sure to “Stay Alive” when the fights broke out around her.
NASCAR chic
Perhaps one of her best costumes that undoubtedly showed her commitment to the cause was last week’s race car-themed party that came complete with go-karts and a cherry red Corvette. This checkerboard chick waved the white flag at the Hampton 500, but not how one would suspect. Do you know those used car dealerships that have the crazy, wavy air balloon luring customers in? Yup, that was Ciara. In a bright orange inflatable, the model rocked and even posed for a few photos. While her besties wore crop tops and leather, she embraced the plastic bubble and made her roomie laugh. She did, however, change into a race track one piece to become one hell of a track girl. But we liked her orange monster costume better.

In Season 7’s Welcome to the Jungle episode, Ciara painted her whole body blue in order to dress as one of the Avatar stars. At the end of the summer Labor Day party, Ciara took her costume to the next level, complete with prosthetic ears. It is clear that Ciara is Queen as she made sure to keep clear of the drama and the pool so her body paint didn’t wash off. Along with the blue paint, Ciara wore a traditional brown loincloth that the Na’Vi would have worn. To complete the look, Ciara wore a skin-tight blue bodysuit, which she cut off to make into shorts. She added some knee-high leather boots, and the rest, as they say, is costume history.
A twisted fairytale
Perhaps the most mythical Ciara has ever looked was during Lindsay’s 35th birthday in Season 6, when she dressed as a mermaid. Complete with an emerald-free fish tail, gold fishy flecks on her arms, and seashells in her hair; the model looked drop-dead gorgeous. As the siren of Montauk, she caught eyes from all angles, but she did fail to catch Austen Kroll’s attention. It was his loss because she was a smoke show in that episode! Instead, Austen was cast under the spell of Lindsay as she flaunted her almost hidden nipples under her butterfly bra.
Ciara’s commitment to the theme is always welcomed by fans and places her ahead of many of her co-stars. She isn’t afraid to look silly and always seems to be enjoying herself no matter what the party theme asks of her. I hope Ciara can keep the good vibes up as the season continues and I can’t wait to see what else this magical costume creator has up her sleeve to wow us with.
