Fraser Olender certainly needed another set of hands on his Below Deck crew, but did he need the drama as well? It’s already started, and the new stew has only just presented herself to the cast during the most recent episode.
The interior crew was feeling battered after being a stew down, then simultaneously dealing with Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin as a particularly vocal charter guest. They received the lowest tip of the season, and it was clear that Fraser’s team needed help. But having the gorgeous Paris Field joining may prove more problematic than necessary, though the Australia native is stellar at laundry.
Sunny feels “mad disrespect” at Ben’s behavior towards Paris in the sneak peek
Paris was teased as a “familiar face.” However, she was neither familiar to Below Deck viewers or the rest of the crew, save for Chief Stew Fraser.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe it’s you!” he said during the April 8 episode, which saw the blonde beauty join the cast. “I know who Paris is. She is the ex of one of my very dear friends.”
Fraser’s dear friend was Season 9 lead deck hand, Jake Foulger.
Meanwhile, Paris described herself in a confessional interview as “outgoing, funny” and a lover of “mayonnaise.”
“I definitely say what’s on my mind, I think because I don’t have any serotonin or any happiness left so I just wanna stir the pot and regain some of that happiness back through people’s suffering. That’s not really true, I’m not evil. I promise,” she added.
Sadly for Sunny Marquis, her squeeze, Ben Willoughby was seen getting very hands on with Paris in a sneak peek for the next episode. And the deck hand was already intuiting the threat upon meeting Paris.
“I’m definitely a little bit jealous,” Sunny said during this week’s episode. “Now there’s a drop-dead gorgeous blonde coming in, she’s from Australia, they’ve got things in common together. I definitely feel a little worried about what Ben thinks of her.”
Ben thinks enough of Paris to be touching her arm in plain sight of the girl he’s been hooking up with.
“The guy I’m dating touching another woman makes me feel uncomfortable to be honest,” Sunny reacted. “Uncomfortable and angry. Mad disrespect.”
The sneak peek shows her confronting Ben saying, “That’s not cool, you just look like an a–hole. That is just not OK, Ben.”
