We all know that Tom Sandoval isn’t necessarily an arbiter of truth. So, on Vanderpump Rules when he claimed that Ariana Madix didn’t contribute financially to the home they shared, we knew there had to be another side of the story. Thank the Bravo Gods for the Vanderpump Rules After Show. Ariana disputed all of Tom’s claims in the latest episode.
Ariana pulled out the receipts
Accusations about Ariana and Tom’s finances have been flying around throughout Season 11. Previously, Tom said that in the aftermath of the cheating scandal, Ariana went months and months without paying their bills. He claimed that he was paying “everything” out of his accounts.
“Mortgage, gardener, cleaning, utilities, everything. It’s kind of like pulling teeth to get Ariana to pay me back,” Tom claimed.
The money issues have gotten worse as Tom and Ariana fight over who gets to keep the house. There’s furniture that needs to be accounted for. Tom alleged that Ariana owes him $90,000 on the house before he can leave. It’s a whole mess.
During the VPR After Show, Ariana said that after looking back through her bank statements, she realized she had been paying for a lot more than she realized. In particular, she helped furnish and decorate parts of their home. She quite literally has the receipts.
Ariana explained, “Probably because it’s been said over and over and over again that I don’t pay for anything, I don’t do anything, I actually didn’t realize until looking at the actual credit card receipts and stuff with Lucinda that I paid [for] the majority of stuff in that house.”
Of course, Tom also made it seem like Ariana wasn’t cleaning up after herself in their house. He called her lazy and said that she barely even cleans her cat’s litterbox. Those claims are still up for debate. For now, Ariana’s main focus is settling these debates over their shared home.
