As the infamous break up between Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard approaches on Summer House Season 8, the former betrothed couple do not speak to each other in real time. The dissolution of their engagement made headlines when the Loverboy employee broke up with Lindsay months before their November 2023 wedding date.
Carl and Lindsay shared their sides of the breakup in the press, all the while avoiding smear campaigns. But that doesn’t mean that Lindsay and Carl could meet under cordial circumstances.
Now, their Summer House co-star is sharing her opinion on whether the two could ever be friends again.
Amanda “hopes for” cordiality between Lindsay and Carl
Carl and Lindsay started as friends. They met in 2016 while filming Summer House, and flirted with the idea of a romantic partnership in Season 4. They became a couple two years later and celebrated their engagement with cameras at the end of Season 7.
But when asked if her co-stars could return to being friends again, Amanda Batula told The Daily Dish, “I don’t think so.”
Not that Amanda doesn’t want a reconciliation, if only for the sake of harmony in the Summer House cast.
“I would love to have — like, I would hope for that,” she explained. “But realistically, I don’t… I think there’s too much that’s gone on between them, that I don’t think they’ll be able to get back from it.”
Summer House fans have been watching all their relationship drama on Season 8. Between Lindsay’s accusations that Carl had been using drugs or her underwhelming response to his professional ideas, it’s a little more clear as to what happened and why.
As for Amanda’s friendships with both Carl and Lindsay, the Bravolebrity is supportive of both of them.
“I think I’m in a good place with both of them right now,” she said. “Um, yeah, just being, you know, supportive from afar. As best as I can.”
