It’s come to this moment in Summer House where it’s clear that Carl Radke has decided to end his engagement to Lindsay Hubbard. The conversation he had with his stepfather, Lou, who also happens to be a minister, seemed to permit him to let it go. It also made the rumors that the Loverboy employee was open to postponing the wedding far more understandable.
But while Summer House fans have been getting a lot of Carl’s perspective recently, Andy Cohen had Lindsay on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live to react to the latest episode.
Lindsay felt Carl and Lou’s conversation was “really hurtful”
Andy asked the former publicist to react to the conversation between Carl and his parents. He also questioned whether Lou “had a point” “in hindsight.”
“I think he has a point if he takes couples on couples counseling. I didn’t talk to Lou at that point since the Christmas before then. And he had not spoken to me and he’s only getting on side of the story,” Lindsay explained.
“What was your reaction seeing that conversation,” the Bravo executive producer asked.
Lindsay responded that she found the discussion “really hurtful.”
“I’ve always been really close with Sharon and Carl’s family since way before we were ever dating,” she explained.
Gabby Prescod also came into WWHL, no doubt, to discuss the drama that went down with Danielle Olivera. She interjected, “But we can agree that it was like, valid.”
Her co-star felt the context of the conversation was off and wanted to downplay the minister aspect of it all.
“I mean, it’s parents talking to their child. So I think their advice is advice to a kid of yours, not necessarily with the credibility of the minister,” Lindsay said.
Brace yourselves, the breakup is quickly approaching. And in next week’s episode, Carl divulges the takeaway from the conversation with Lou to his still-betrothed.
