Our favorite Real Housewives of New Jersey house husband, Frank Catania, is getting ready to tie the knot. Frank has been a staple on the series for some time now and was first introduced as Dolores Catania’s ex-husband. Dolores and Frank were married from 1994 to 1998 and share two children. While the setup might seem a bit weird on the outside, Frank and Dolores made their divorce work for them. Even though the former lawyer cheated on Dolores, both wanted to make sure their children were put first. They even shared a home together. Now the entire family is in a better place as they prepare to marry off the last bachelor of RHONJ

When is the wedding?

According to their wedding website, Frank is marrying his younger bride, Brittany Mattessich, on November 9, 2024. With just a few months to their wedding, the couple has a lot to look forward to. The couple’s relationship was a slow burn with Frank waiting 14 years after his divorce to make a major commitment. At the time, Brittany was 21 and Frank was 49. The duo first met when Frank was Brittany’s trainer for a fitness show. Fans of the Real Housewives of New Jersey will also recall that he helped train Teresa Giudice on her fitness journey. The two love birds were actually long-time friends before their relationship turned romantic in 2022.

The proposal

Frank proposed in October 2023, and it was adorable. The couple wore matching black t-shirts and jeans as they took photos in front of a floral wall. At the time, Brittany wrote, “We’re Engaged!!!! ?? I’m so excited to start this next chapter with you, along with all the other good things we have going on.” The muscle of New Jersey, Dolores penned a nice message to her ex-husband writing, “I couldn’t be happier for these two lovebirds. Congrats on the engagement!” Brittany, who is close to Dolores, replied writing that she “always makes me feel like part of the family,” and Frank championed Dolores for “always keeping our family together.”

The registry

Currently, the happy couple is registered at Macy’s, Bloomingdales, and Crate & Barrel. And like any other couple about to wed, they are asking for some pretty fun things. Prices range from a $38 table vase to $500 Hilton Hotel six piece bed set. After taking a peek, it looks like Brittany and Frank are trying to keep their wish list short and sweet. The couple has added some beautiful white serving dishes, chrome bathroom accessories, an LED curved alarm clock, and a SALAV garment cleaner. If I were attending the wedding as a guest I think I would bring the $100 marble cheese platter. It looks refined, and it will be used for years to come as they entertain their family and friends in their shared home.

The bridal shower

Last weekend, the women in Brittany’s life showered the bride-to-be with her own party. Brittany wore a gorgeous white gown with a high slit up the leg. Also, her blonde hair was worn down in large, bouncy curls. If I didn’t know any better I would have thought that this was the big wedding day. But like most Jersey girls, it looked like Brittany just wanted another opportunity to get all dressed up as she celebrated her love. Additionally, the joyous day took place at a typical New Jersey wedding venue, The Brownstone a RHONJ staple that was complete with a proper setting plan and a dance floor.

There was a dessert table that was filled with rainbow cookies, macarons, and a white cake. Pictures of the happy couple were displayed everywhere. In attendance was Dolores, who posted photos and gave a touching shout-out. The mother of two wrote, |Had so much fun showering the beautiful bride-to-be ?? So excited for these two @frank.catania.sr & @missbrittyann.” Brittany also invited Rachel Fuda and Melissa Gorga to her special day. Here is hoping Frank made a deal to have Bravo cameras at the wedding.
