Margaret Josephs Denies Trying to ‘Govern Jenn Fessler’s Friendships’

During her interview on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs quickly denied that she was trying to “govern” Jenn Fesslers friendships and said it was more about having Jenn do “what she says she was gonna do.”

The revelation came when Andy asked why everyone was trying to “govern Jenn Fessler’s friendships,” and quite frankly, Margaret seemed to have more of an issue with the term “govern” than anything else.

She quickly clarified that it was more about Jenn changing what she had previously said, more than anything else.

“No one is trying to govern her friendships whatsoever,” Margaret told Andy. She added that Jenn had said early in the first episode that she had wanted nothing to do with Teresa Giudice and that “they creeped her out.” With a statement like that, Margaret was sure that Jenn was going to keep her distance.

“Jenn said, ‘I want nothing to do with her,’” Margaret said. “She knew what happened. I had called her very upset. I was like, please just don’t discuss me.”

Margaret had assumed that was that, but then, “What does she do as soon as she sees her? She runs and discusses me!” she said, obviously exasperated.

While it’s understandable that she would be upset that Jenn was discussing her with Teresa, this does explain why it may come across as her wanting to have a say in who Jenn speaks to or doesn’t speak to, as the case may be.

Margaret was quick to add that she and Jenn were very close when Andy asked her if they were okay following the outburst. “It’s just like, do what you say you are going to do,” Margaret explained. “Be who you say you are going to be on and off camera.”

As for Margaret and Teresa, there’s no love lost there. The two RHONJ ladies are still on opposing sides in Season 14, and both have made it quite clear that they will never be on the same page.

No amount of meddling from Jenn is going to change that.
