According to New Jersey prosecutors, before Milania Giudice was arrested on May 14, she actually struck someone on the head. On July 14, the Real Housewives of New Jersey offspring appeared in court via Zoom alongside her attorney. She entered a plea of not guilty.
The 20-year-old daughter of Teresa Giudice looked solemn as she sat next to her attorney, Alan Kraminsky. She listened quietly while prosecutors alleged that she did “knowingly cause bodily injury to another.”
More specifically, Milania is accused of “striking the victim, L.R., in the head with her fist, causing redness to the middle of the victim’s forehead.” Coincidentally, Milania’s stepdad Luis Ruelas has the initials “LR,” but there has been no confirmation that he was the victim. His son, Louie Jr., also shares those initials.
The RHONJ star was arrested for assault
Teresa’s third daughter quietly responded to the judge’s questions as she was arraigned. Subsequently, the judge ordered her to return to court for a hearing on August 11. If found guilty, Milania could face up to six months in jail, probation and fines in excess of $500.
Initally arrested at the Montville home of her mother and stepdad, Milania had reportedly been “throwing food [and birthday] candles.” In fact, it was her sister who reported the domestic incident to the police. Per the police report, Gabriella Giudice called 911 just before 6:15 pm, saying her “sister [was] acting erratically.”
Though she has yet to admit any wrongdoing, Milania broke her silence on June 29 with a TikTok complaining about a fake mug shot. Calling the photo circulating online “fake,” the University of Tampa student criticized the photo as being “AI.”
“I ate down in my mug shot,” she boasted. “I looked fire … Nothing to be proud of, but I made sure of that.”
“It is what it is,” she added. “Sh*t happens in life … You gotta learn from it and just become a better person.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently streaming on Peacock.
