Report: Todd Nepola’s Divorce Filing From Alexia Could Be Thrown Out

The updates around Todd and Alexia Nepola keep rolling in faster than Brynn Whitfield can come down an escalator. The Real Housewives of Miami stars might find their divorce proceedings come to an unexpected end, but perhaps not for the reason you might think.

Just yesterday, we reported the statement of an eyewitness who saw Alexia and Todd on a romantic getaway. The worst part is that Alexia could do so much better. Unfortunately, she might not get the chance. It would seem the divorce might get thrown out entirely, and the ball is entirely in Todd’s court.

On September 10, In Touch shared an interesting update about Todd’s divorce filing. Court documents showed that Todd had 30 days to move things along, or else his filing would be thrown out.

As the judge put it: “Review of the docket display and court file indicates that there appears to have been no action by any party to the cause nor have any pleading or orders of the court been filed in said cause for a sufficient period to indicate that the parties are desirous of further prosecuting this cause.”

In other words, Todd would have to “perform some affirmative action (e.g. notice the case for trial or other pleading) within thirty (30) days of the date of this Order. If [Todd] fails to comply with this paragraph, this cause may be dismissed for lack of prosecution.”

A person almost has to wonder if Todd even truly wants a divorce. The conspiracy theorist might say divorce was never truly on the table. But ultimately, no one can say for sure. Hopefully, if Alexia feels so inclined, she’ll share everything on RHOM Season 7.

Real Housewives of Miami is streaming on Peacock.
