The reality TV gods smiled upon us, gifting us with two great competition shows to watch in 2025. Both The Traitors Season 3 and Deal or No Deal Island Season 2 kept us glued to our seats. The Traitors, hosted by Alan Cumming, featured jaw-dropping social moves, as well as a turret full of squabbling Traitors.
In the end, four Faithfuls won the prize pot. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania, Dylan Efron, Gabby Windey, and Lord Ivar Mountbatten split the prize pot, ending a thrilling season.
As DONDI rockets to its conclusion, the last remaining contestants will play for the final case, valued at over $10 million. Deal or No Deal Island, which is hosted by Joe Manganiello, is a fascinating blend of physical challenges, social gameplay, and luck. This season, reality legends Dr. Will Kirby of Big Brother, along with Survivor icon Parvati Shallow and Australia Survivor winner David Genat competed.
So, looking to the future, which Traitors stars should play Deal or No Deal Island? Read on for our picks.
Derrick Levasseur
The Traitors gave Derrick Levasseur quite an entrance. Derrick, along with The Challenge star Wes Bergmann and Boston Rob Mariano, were suspended above the ground in cages. Their entry into the game was a surprise for the other contestants. Although the trio entered the game a bit late, they hit the ground running.
Derrick, who won Big Brother Season 16, is considered one of the best to ever play the game. His strategy on BB was to align with big personalities and then influence their decision-making. That way, he avoided putting a target on his back.
Of course, Derrick figured out that Boston Rob was a Traitor. When he accused him at the Round Table, he didn’t have enough votes to oust Rob. Since he was now a huge threat, Derrick was murdered by those devious Traitors.
His gameplay is why he would make an excellent choice to compete on DONDI. Not only is he likable, but he is also strategic. Deal or No Deal Island is famous for its twists, so players have to be ready for anything. I think that Derrick would be up for the challenge.
Gabby Windey
Gabby Windey burst onto our TV screens in The Bachelor, then she handed out roses as The Bachelorette. She even danced her heart out on Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars, coming in second place with her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.
However, in The Traitors, Gabby was part of the Bambi alliance with Chrishell Stause and Nikki Garcia. The trio was also well-known because of their disdain for Vanderpump Rules alum Tom Sandoval. In the end, Gabby and three other Faithfuls split the prize pot.
While Gabby didn’t seem to have a cohesive strategy, she picked up on some clues to the Traitor’s identities quickly. She noticed Danielle Reyes coming out of the secret room behind the bookcase. In addition, Gabby was also protective of the female cast members and felt that their opinions were often dismissed.
If Gabby joined the cast of DONDI, her personality would be a big draw for the audience. She can be quiet and thoughtful, but she is also intelligent. And her bubbly personality would be entertaining. I’m not sure how Gabby would feel about the snakes and insects on the island, but I’d love to find out. As for some of the challenges? Gabby may not enjoy wading through a swamp or slogging through the mud, but playing the Banker for millions of dollars is plenty of motivation.
Dylan Efron
During Season 3 of The Traitors, Dylan Efron was the most faithful of all the Faithfuls. Dylan is the younger brother of actor Zac Efron. He is a travel influencer with a steady following, and his own YouTube channel.
Right away, Dylan harnessed his ability to sniff out odd behavior during his time in the castle. He was the first to suspect Bob the Drag Queen of being a Traitor, but his comments at the Round Table didn’t land. However, when fellow Traitor Boston Rob decided to oust Bob, Dylan was his right-hand man.
And during the challenges, Dylan was an asset. Plus, he was also dedicated to finding Traitors. Even if Dylan was friends with a Traitor, he would make the tough choice every time and vote out his friend.
Dylan would be an excellent choice to compete next season on DONDI. While he might not have a gamer’s understanding of strategy, after being in that Scottish castle, he picked up a few pointers. He is also likable and genuine. It is impossible not to root for him. And he doesn’t mind a down-and-dirty challenge.
Britney Haynes
Big Brother star Britney Haynes made her mark during The Traitors. While she didn’t miss a trick in the castle, she played a low-key game. She was pretty quiet at the Round Table unless you came for her.
When Boston Rob knew he was in trouble, he attempted to target Britney. However, this Big Brother gamer wasn’t going gently into that banishment. In the end, it was Boston Rob who was exiled from the castle.
Plus, Britney managed to pull off an unexpected Round Table blindside. Her BB bestie, Danielle, recruited her to be a Traitor. However, Britney did Danielle dirty, just like in Big Brother. She cast the tie-breaking vote to banish Danielle, leaving Britney as the sole Traitor heading into the finale.
Of course, Britney’s intelligence and strategic gameplay would make her an incredible candidate for Deal or No Deal Island. Her impressive attempt at saving herself and gliding into the finale ultimately failed. However, her ability to think ahead and plan her game, all while staying calm under pressure, would come in handy on the Banker’s island.
For all these reasons, this quartet of Traitors stars should play Deal or No Deal Island. One of them could be the Banker’s ultimate opponent!
