Why Christina Aguilera Wanted an Invite From RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga is living her best life. While her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, is once again facing financial trouble, Melissa seems unbothered. After all, when an A-lister like Christina Aguilera wants to hang out, what else matters?

While RHONJ viewers are waiting for a Season 15 casting update, Melissa has remained hopeful that she could return. She previously stated, “This is my opinion: They’re going to do some type of hybrid. They’re going to keep a couple, bring some new faces in – which I think it’s needed, by the way.”

Plus, she launched her Sprinkle Cookie company, capitalizing on a feud with Teresa from Season 3 of the show. Melissa’s cookies seem to have found an appreciative audience, with even a compliment or two from Bethenny Frankel.

Recently, Melissa was a guest on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio, and she spilled some Dirrty tea. “We had a mutual hair [stylist], and Christina was a big fan of [RHONJ], and she asked the hair girl to connect us ’cause she wanted to do dinner,” Melissa explained, also noting that Christina follows her on Instagram.

Melissa said that they “went to dinner and had a great night – multiple times.” The duo even hung out in Los Angeles, with Melissa stating that Christina was “great”. Interesting.

According to Melissa, “She also reached out to me to come to the Shore house ’cause she goes to [Long Beach Island] during the summer.” She added that Matthew Rutler, Christina’s “partner,” is a New Jersey native. When Christina hits Long Beach Island, she “calls” Melissa “every summer to connect.”

Alas, Melissa’s RHONJ filming schedule kept her from seeing Xtina on several occasions. “A couple times, she invited me [out], and I was filming – I couldn’t go,” Melissa explained. “Another time, she invited me to her birthday – I couldn’t go. I was like, ‘I can’t believe this!’”

Still, kudos to Melissa for keeping her work commitments. “Can you believe [it]? See? I’m so professional,” the Envy Boutique owner stated. I’d love to be a fly on the wall at Melissa’s shore house if Christina ever visits.
