RHONJ’s Gia Giudice Gives Update on Dad Joe’s Life After He Was Deported

Gia Giudice is speaking out about her father’s new life in the Bahamas six years after he was deported from the United States. Joe Giudice spent 41 months in prison for fraud. Then, he was deported back to his native Italy. However, the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum ended up in the Bahamas to be closer to his daughters.

And Gia has the platform to share her truth about what the family endured during that trying time. She recently started a podcast, courtesy of iHeart Radio, called Casual Chaos. The second-generation Bravolebrity is also joining similar stars in a new reality TV show called Next Gen NYC.

How is Gia Giudice’s dad Joe Giudice doing after RHONJ?

Gia told People that Joe “is doing amazing.” She and her three sisters, Gabriella, 20, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 15, visit their father “at least four times a year.”

The reality TV star added, “He is living life. He is back in the construction world, so he is just doing a lot of construction work out there in the Bahamas. He specializes in tile and stone; that’s what he’s really good at. So he does a lot of tiling and stone jobs. He just built this really cool seawall. But yeah, he’s doing great.”

Joe has created a new life for himself. But he still hopes to get back to the States, and Gia is hoping to help him in that process. Though she put law school on hold, she hopes to use her podcast platform to discuss Joe’s case.

“I would love to have my dad on my podcast,” Gia shared. “He will definitely be on my podcast. I would even bring my at-home studio to the Bahamas and do a real podcast with him. I would love that.”

She explained, “I would love to incorporate some guests that are lawyers onto my podcast, 100%, even to talk about my dad’s case or anything like that, my parents’ case. I feel like that would be really cool.”

But the podcast won’t be all heavy legal talk. Gia told People that she brush on “topics like divorce and talk about how I manage my parents’ divorce” in the hopes that it “can help others.” She also wants to share how she “dealt with my parents’ incarceration.”

“I would love to talk about that topic and see how I can help people in that way and really share my advice and try to make an impact in those ways,” she said.

As for Next Gen NYC, fans will get to see Gia’s “fun lighthearted self.” And perhaps one that she hasn’t been able to show on RHONJ. The Bravolebrity is very excited about her new ventures.

“I just want them to feel like they’re in a conversation with me while listening to my podcast. I want them to feel how casual and easy I am, and I also want them to really feel like they can relate to me,” Gia concluded.
