Erika Jayne is standing by her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Dorit Kemsley. Dorit just filed for divorce from estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley, effectively taking the next step in ending their 10 years of marriage.
Erika knows it’s a tough time for her friend and co-star. Dorit even previously called PK her soul and “my blood.” But things have been rocky with her and PK during the separation and everyone saw it on the latest season of RHOBH with the reunion pretty much sealing the deal.
Now, with Dorit filing for divorce, things are more real than ever before.

“I literally just found out online like everyone else, maybe and hour ago” Erika told US Weekly of the divorce filing. “And obviously, I reached out to her. She’s got more important things to do than talk to me right now.”
Dorit filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause for their split. She also asked for sole legal and physical custody of the kids, and spousal support.
It’s sad because throughout the season it seemed that perhaps there might be hope for reconciliation. However, PK kissed that goodbye figuratively and literally when he planted his lips on another girl. That girl turned out to be Shana Wall from The Amazing Race.
And to be fair, during the reunion, it really appeared that Dorit was done. She told everyone where she and PK stood.
“As of a week ago, I’ve chosen not to have a relationship with him,” she said. “I said, ‘the way you are making me feel in this moment, I don’t think I can have a relationship with you, even a friendship.’”
Neither Dorit or PK has said anything else about the divorce filing as of this time. Erika though admitted that she though the separation was a “sad thing.”
“How does anybody feel when they hear that a family’s broken up?” Erika asked. “You feel badly.” Erika filed for divorce from husband Tom Girardi in 2020 and knows what divorce feels like first-hand. “This is sad. It’s a sad thing.”
