Several of the main cast members of Next Gen NYC are children of iconic Bravolebrities. One of which is Ariana Biermann who’s the daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak. In fact, Kim made a brief cameo in Next Gen’s premiere season trailer.
Ariana’s stepfather Kroy Biermann wasn’t featured in the clip, though. This isn’t a shocker given their tumultuous separation. This third divorce has involved a money war, an argument that caused police intervention, and it hasn’t even been finalized. To put it plainly, this fallout has the former couple at odds, and Ariana just shared what it’s like being in the middle.
Ariana Biermann and Kroy Biermann are “not as close” amid Kim Zolciak divorce
Ariana recently revealed how her parents’ split has been causing some friction in her relationship with her stepdad.
“We’re definitely not as close as we used to be, and I don’t really talk to him very often just because of this tough situation that we’re in. But I really do try to keep the divorce and my relationship with him and my mom separate. It just gets hard at times,” she told US Weekly.
The reality TV star went as far as sharing that in terms of bonds, she and Kroy have always had a great connection, one that even trumped her friendship with Kim.
“Growing up, he really was my best friend — more than my mom was for a while.”
Not long ago, Ariana also gave an update on the current state of their divorce. According to her, it’s moving slowly, and isn’t close to being finalized. How many divorce filings have to happen for this couple to finally go their separate ways?
