RHOBH’s Erika Jayne Provides Los Angeles Home Update: ‘1920s Glamour’

Erika Jayne loves her redesigned home. She first shared a glimpse of it on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 Episode 14. The Pretty Mess singer became emotional about the process, citing how symbolic it was for her to create her dream home after several very difficult years.

Prior to her separation from Tom Girardi in 2020, Erika lived in a mansion in Pasadena. She had to downsize to a much smaller home, in which she weathered the massive legal fallout of Tom’s embezzlement trial. Now, Erika is ready to give a detailed tour of her redesigned home.

RHOBH star Erika Jayne gives a house tour

EJ gave People an exclusive peak of her house for an episode of their Hollywood at Home series. Erika, and celebrity interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, were inspired by “1920’s glamour.” The Bravolebrity credited Martyn, without whom, “none of this would’ve been possible.”

In the video, Erika and Martyn walk cameras through the house and discuss its key points. In the living room, the interior decorator, said, “It’s got glamour, it’s very comfortable, it’s very approachable. But don’t forget it’s sexy.”

“At nighttime, especially, this is the sexiest room,” Erika agreed.

A Coco Republic cream-colored sofa is the focal point of the space, which Martyn thinks captures Erika’s personality to a tee. The reality TV star “rolled around” on the rug. It “did not disappoint” in that moment.

Martyn noted, “The mix of the old and the new has really made this room feel extra special.” A 1960’s bar cart from southern France brings the style of the living room together.

The dining room is the “main focal point” of the house. Erika and her son, Tommy Zizzo Jr., often enjoy a meal together there. The RHOBH favorite gushed that she is “thrilled” every time she enters the space, which is adorned with palm wallpaper.

“Now, you bring a lot of drama into spaces, normally,” the celebrity designers joked of his client.

“I do,” Erika responded. “But then you brought the right kind of drama, like the beautiful, artistic drama.”

She added, “My son and I sit here almost every night and have dinner together. And it’s very special for us.”

Erika is ready to entertain in style

The “sexy, movie star experience” is most apparent in Erika’s bedroom. She explained, “This is a room that I feel it’s like a little cocoon, in a way. It just feels warm and luxurious in here, which is what you want in your bedroom.”

However, the “best part of the house,” according to Erika is the garden area. It has a cabana, painted in teal and white stripes.

“This is so special,” Erika gushed. “Everyone that comes here is like ‘Erika, this is the best part of this entire space.”

Martyn explained, “The stripes are a real decorating trick. It’s a way to add drama and make the space feel bigger. It’s a way to transport you.”

“I feel so serene, like I’m somewhere else right here,” the Broadway star added.

If Erika wants to entertain her guests with some of her own songs, the garden also has a DJ booth. “We’re ready for a dance party, we’re ready for an impromptu cocktail party, we’re ready for friends, we’re ready for a dip in the pool,” she said of the space. “This is really what L.A. living is about.”
