We’re certainly seeing a lot of new perspectives in Next Gen NYC and the show is just getting started. In the premiere Ariana Biermann revealed that has been loaning her mom, Kim Zolciak money amid her divorce from Kroy Biermann.
It looked like an awkward topic to discuss but Ariana was very open about it for the camera. And she wasn’t the only one. The premiere episode of the next generation show served the tea and it was piping hot. The news about Kim’s finances was just one among many revelations.
Ariana Biermann revealed her mom Kim Zolciak borrows her money during Next Gen NYC
Kim’s money problems are not new. Her years-long tumultuous divorce from Kroy has resulted in major financial issues for the couple. Kim has been doing all the work she can and the couple working hard to sell their home. Kim even tried to sell the furniture in Ariana’s bedroom.
But even with all of this, it appears Kim still struggles with her finances. And Ariana admits to loaning her money. She even talked about Kim and Kroy draining her bank accounts of her earnings from when she was younger.
“I have been on TV since I was five years old,” Ariana shared in a confessional. “I did reality TV with my family. And then I started posting on Instagram and got my first brand deal when I was 14. I was doing like three posts a week and you paid astronomical so I made quite a bit of money. But, unfortunately, my parents took my money.”
She found out about this two years ago but doesn’t reveal the exact amount she lost. Ariana also revealed that Kim still borrows money from her now.
“Money makes things awkward, and I hate what money can do to people,” Ariana said. She added that she tries not to let it affect her relationship with her mom and that Kim was her “best friend in the world.” She also shared Kim’s been “very good at paying her back.”
Ariana does express some frustrations though when she sees Kim drinking a $200 bottle of wine on social media. She wishes that had been more honest with her. “I wish I would have been kept in the light about it,” she admitted. “Because I feel like I was grown enough to know the truth.”
