Politics has always been a sensitive topic. And Kelly Dodd has never been good with sensitive topics. She was never a fan favorite on Real Housewives of Orange County and she often speaks (or posts) without thinking. Her latest questionable decision? Calling out Andy Cohen’s politics on a social media post.
Kelly has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Her perpetual feud with Heather Dubrow is just one of many examples of her being crass and rude. Honestly, she once called Heather “a man” and spit out hateful rhetoric and involved Heather’s kids. And yet she has the nerve to call out Andy for eating a burger?

What is it they say about people who live in glass houses? Kelly probably shouldn’t be throwing stones when she herself is getting called out for homophobia and transphobic remarks. Instead of focusing on herself, she’s calling out Andy on social media for eating at In and Out.
Andy shared a carousel of photos. One of him with a burger, one on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and one of John Mayer. The caption explained how he “killed two hours in LA.” He shared that he ate at In and Out (“double double protein”), checked in on his Walk of Fame star, and visited a friend at work.
Kelly commented on the post, “In and Out are Republican. I’m surprised you ate there.”
Instead of rising to the bait, Andy replied, “Republicans make great burgers.”
People in the comments weren’t having Kelly’s remarks. Chrissy Teigen jokingly wrote, “In and Out are Republicans. Both of them. In and Out.” Other people pointed out that Kelly says polarizing things for attention and that she was grasping at straws to remain relevant. One commenter even pointed out that Kelly says political things to create friction.
Not all the housewives were upset though. RHOC’s Tamra Judge commented that protein style is just how she liked it. and RHOBH’s Bozoma Saint John asked why he didn’t make a stop in Beverly Hills.
Looks like it’s just Kelly who took issue with Andy’s choice of food stop.
