Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp has more than enough on her plate. She is weathering a cancer diagnosis and a recent break-up. And now, some intruders nearly broke into her home.
Recently, Teddi shared that she has suffered a setback with her cancer treatment. Teddi has stage 4 melanoma, which has spread to her brain and lungs. The former RHOBH star paused her immunotherapy treatments because of the difficult side effects. “Essentially, I haven’t been feeling good for about a month, which was kind of shocking to me. I think, mentally, it did a lot to me,” Teddi explained.

Teddi discussed the attempted break-in on her podcast, Two T’s in a Pod. “People are like, ‘Oh, you’re just like So – and – So and So – and – So, who used to be on Housewives,'” Teddi stated. “I’m like, ‘We weren’t robbed.’ Somebody attempted to come into our home. Who knows what would have happened?” As you may recall, Teddi’s former RHOBH co-star, Dorit Kemsley, was the victim of a terrifying home invasion. However, in Dorit’s case, she was held at gunpoint and robbed.
“I think saying that even [saying that comment] in passing, it’s hurtful,” Teddi admitted. “Like, we’re all scared.” She continued, “A week or two ago, there was a couple who lived, kind of, nearby me, who were murdered in their home.” I can’t imagine how frightening that must be.
“Thankfully, we’re all safe and good, but we’re shaken up around here. It’s scary, and even watching the videos … it looked like it was three guys,” Teddi explained. “I think that they broke into the house two houses down, as well.”
Meanwhile, Teddi also recently parted ways with her boyfriend, Ricci Rea. Let’s all hope that Teddi gets a break and has some peace.
