It was a pinch-me moment in reality TV history when Kristen Doute returned to the small screen. After getting fired from Vanderpump Rules after Season 8, she unexpectedly returned in Season 10. Everyone thought that it was just to comfort bestie Ariana Madix throughout the chaotic Scandoval experience. But in reality, she was just getting started on her comeback era.`
She joined The Valley as a main cast member and has continued this role through its second season. Going from reality TV banishment to returning to her icon-status within a few years was quite the whirlwind. Not only for her loyal fanbase, but according to Kristen, it was quite the rollercoaster for herself too.
Kristen Doute also spoke about her Valley feud with Janet Caperna
Kristen was a recent guest on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. It was during the segment that she discussed her return to the reality TV world.
The VPR alum revealed that while she knew that she wanted to come back, she still had some reservations.
“I was stoked, I was ready. But, I was really afraid that people weren’t going to be ready for me,” she shared in the July 29 episode.
Welp, that’s clearly not the case. Throughout Season 2 of The Valley, she’s been a fan-favorite cast member, especially after ripping into Janet Caperna. An unforgettable moment was when she went off after Janet accused Danny Booko of sexual assault.
“It’s like you’re not Stassi [Schroeder]. You’re not Lala [Kent]. You wanna talk about slander, you wanna talk about defamation? You can’t just say that about someone.”
It doesn’t seem like the time passed after filming Season 2 has brought them closer together. Oh well.
The Valley is available to stream on Peacock. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
