Tamra Judge took a pause on her friendship with Shannon Beador during The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18. There was the whole incident of Shannon’s DUI. And Tamra made hurtful accusations that she had a problem with alcohol. She has now retracted those statements.
During the same season, Tamra made amends with Alexis Bellino, who returned for a short-lived stint alongside John Janssen. Rumors that he was only dating Alexis for publicity stuck to the couple since the beginning of their relationship. Tamra remains friends with them, and is to attend their wedding. The former CUT fitness owner continues to vouch for the authenticity of their love, potentially throwing Shannon under the bus in the process.
Tamra Judge says Alexis Bellino “was in negotiations” to join RHOC before dating John Janssen
“So, Alexis was in negotiations before she even started dating John. Her and John met at The Quiet Woman [while they were] out. I don’t see John [as a Housewives chaser]. I think what people don’t understand is, John was a single dad who raised all his kids by himself. John is a really nice guy. I like John, I do. Shannon has an MO of, when she’s done with somebody, she wants to destroy their image, and she tried to do that to me,” the RHOC star told Nick Viall on a recent episode of his podcast, The Viall Files.
Tamra added that she is “the easiest friend.” And made the distinction of how she processes drama. That is, not to unload on her girls. “I don’t ask for anything, I hardly rely on friends for emotional support; I usually go to my husband … so [Alexis] got cast on the show [and] started dating John,” she explained.
As for Shannon, it seems that the RHOC veteran is still harboring some kind of feelings about Shannon’s choice to drink in her post-DUI world.
“She’s the only person I know that can be accused of drinking too much for 10 years, drive her car into a house, try to take off, have a physical altercation with her boyfriend, and get praised … and [she’s] still drinking! Even back then, still drinking!” Tamra stated.
