Alexis Bellino returned to Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County for a hot minute. However, her feud with Shannon Beador and love connection with Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, made everything messy. So, for Season 19, Gretchen Rossi returned to RHOC after a 12-year hiatus.
However, some of Gretchen’s controversial social media activities have sparked a wave of backlash. She allegedly “liked” hateful posts slamming the LGBTQ community. One post that Gretchen allegedly liked read, “When you opened the door to homosexuality, you opened the door to pedophilia. You’ll never win in normalizing perversion.” Maybe Gretchen should stay off social media.
Gretchen Rossi said screenshots that made Alexis Bellino “livid” were “manipulated”
Recently, Alexis was a guest on Carlos King’s podcast, Reality with the King. “Do you feel Gretchen’s comeback has been great or a huge letdown?” Carlos asked. “It’s not a good time to ask me about Gretchen after what just came out,” Alexis stated. “I don’t think I have one positive thing to say about her as a human being at all at the moment.”
When Carlos asked what Gretchen said, Alexis responded, “It was on some Bravo blog site, that she agreed that LGBTQ and trans are the same as pedophiles. Or some context like that. I was livid.” She continued, “I said, ‘I am livid because you know I have an LGBTQ child.’ You can’t even bring her name up to me right now without me just being really pissed off.” The RHOC alum added, “I will die for my kid, so you will shut the f*ck up, period.”
As he fact-checked in real time, Carlos said, “Alexis, Gretchen Rossi alleged that those screenshots were fake, and that she is actually a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community.” However, earlier this season, Gretchen and her co-star Jennifer Pedranti were slammed for making a racially insensitive video that made fun of Asian people.
