Denise Richards testified during a hearing on October 6 regarding the temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers. The couple tied the knot in 2018, and Aaron filed for divorce in July 2025. Since then, accusations have been flying between the exes amid the contentious divorce.
After reporting several allegations of domestic abuse, Denise was granted a temporary restraining order against Aaron. In the court documents, Denise alleged that Aaron “would frequently violently choke me” and “violently squeeze my head with both hands.” Now, Denise has revealed more disturbing details about the alleged domestic violence.

According to PEOPLE, Denise became emotional on the witness stand. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum alleged that Aaron “would often threaten to throw me through the windows and off balconies.”
Denise also explained the events of July 4, which led to their breakup. She asked Aaron to leave their townhouse. “He got very angry at me and volatile, he got very close to me. I had just recovered from a full facelift, and I still had stitches behind my ears, and I felt extremely vulnerable,” Denise stated. She added, “He would grab my arms and he would yell, call me names,” such as “cheating whore and a c*nt and a lying bitch.”
Denise slept next door in her office. The next morning, she claimed that Aaron and his father came into the room. Then, Aaron reportedly threatened to release nude photos of Denise that he found on her phone. And he allegedly hit the back of her left ear. “He’s almost killed me so many damn times,” Denise stated. Meanwhile, Aaron has denied Denise’s abuse allegations and claimed that she is the “abusive” one.
