The best episodes of Watch What Happens Live are the ones where the guests are actually fans of Bravo. They show up armed with real opinions, and actor Lukas Gage had plenty of hot takes when he sat down with Andy Cohen on the October 14 episode.
At one point, Andy challenged Lukas to name an unpopular opinion. He shared his vision for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and we’re pretty sure it was the exact opposite of what Andy wanted to hear.
Lukas Gage wants Jen Shah back on RHOSLC
When prompted for a hot take, Lukas shared a controversial opinion about Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
“My most unpopular opinion is we need to let Jen Shah back,” Lukas said. “I mean, if she can do enough time in federal — if it’s okay for the federal government, it should be okay for Bravo.”
Ironically, this hot take from Lukas arrived just a couple of weeks after a video went viral of Andy saying he “never” wanted to see Jen again. Clearly, not everyone feels that way.
“We need to bring Jen back,” Lukas continued. I’m sorry, I don’t agree with what she did. She’s great for the show. I know you’ve said your things about it, but give her another shot.”
“Am I right?” Lukas asked the audience, to a lukewarm response.
A slightly irritated Andy pointed out that the show has been doing just fine in Jen’s absence. RHOSLC’s Whitney Rose was the other guest on WWHL that night, and she didn’t seem too thrilled about the idea either.
“You were doing so good until now,” she told Lukas.
We’ll see what the future holds for Jen when she gets out of prison. The last time we checked, she’s scheduled for release in August 2026. Less than a year to go!
