RHOBH Alum Garcelle Beauvais Reveals Her Home Was Swatted

On The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we watched Garcelle Beauvais build a beach house to serve as a relaxing getaway for her and her boys. Unfortunately, Garcelle just shared how a recent swatting incident turned their peaceful oasis into a terrifying scene of chaos. FBI agents showed up with their guns out, all over a bogus claim.

The FBI turned up outside Garcelle Beauvais’ home

The RHOBH alum appeared on Radio Andy’s Smith Sisters Live and opened up about the wild experience. She said it all happened after hosting her sons and their friends at the $1.5 million beach house.

“I had 11 teenagers, all Black, one white,” Garcelle recalled. “All of them at the beach house, we’re having a great time.”

The boys stayed at the beach house for two nights. By the third day, Garcelle was ready to empty the nest. They packed up the beach house, and everyone went their separate ways. However, Garcelle’s phone started blowing up a few hours later when she got home.

Garcelle explained, “So I look and it’s my neighbor and she goes, ‘Our street is shut down and there’s FBI cars. I’m in front of your house.’ And she goes, ‘They want your number.’ And like, being Black. I’m like, ‘Don’t give my number.’”

The neighbor said that they “weren’t allowed outside.” Then, about 20 minutes later, she called Garcelle back and gave her the surprising update. Someone swatted the house!

Garcelle explained, “I don’t know why, but I didn’t even know what that was. So I called Jaid and I go, ‘What is swatting?’ And he’s like, ‘Mom, they do it to YouTubers or streamers or somebody calls and says there’s something crazy at your house so FBI shows up.’”

Garcelle said she has video of the FBI agents walking past her house with rifles. It was an unnerving situation, but she felt relieved that she and the 11 mostly Black teenagers weren’t there. They left the beach house at the perfect time.

“God is amazing because had we been there, I would have been there with 11 teenagers,” Garcelle reflected. “All night long, I kept on saying ‘Thank you, God. Thank you, God. God, thank you, God. We weren’t there.’”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock.
