It’s been a family affair for Garcelle Beauvais. Her three sons, Oliver Saunders, and twins Jax Nilon and Jaid Nilon, have all appeared on the current season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. This is a tight-knit family, and Garcelle can certainly be acknowledged for her success as a mother.
During the season premiere, Garcelle took her twins on a beach picnic. Jax expressed unhappiness at his mother’s perceived absence and wanted more freedom. The RHOBH star took his words to heart and was visibly moved. No one can question her dedication to her sons. But a fan at BravoCon was interested in getting an update on Jax and Garcelle’s relationship.
Garcelle is grateful Jax opened up to her
On the first day of BravoCon 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada, a RHOBH fan addressed Garcelle during a panel Q&A.
“I’m a single mom. I have two boys. I’m an attorney and I work all the time. There were scenes filmed when you were with your boys, and I just want to know how that’s all going,” the fan shared.
She asked, “How are you navigating that and what place are you in now with your boys?”
Garcelle graciously thanked the fan for the question. She then responded, “As a single mom, you know: We do the best we can. It’s really interesting because, when that scene happened it was obviously a knife to the heart. I thought I was doing a good job. Was I perfect? No. But because of that conversation and ongoing conversations Jax and I are in a better place. And I’m glad he did that because I don’t know if we would have gotten there.”
Meanwhile, Garcelle has been feeling very protective of her brood after Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley laughed over Erika Jayne’s drunken treatment of Jax. In the most recent episode, she told her co-stars that she still felt protective of her boys around them. That fallout will hit on next week’s episode.
