It seems like The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast is increasingly willing to entertain the idea of peace. When Teresa Giudice first floated the idea of reconciling with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, everyone was skeptical. And that included Melissa.
The nasty feud between the Gorga and Giudice families derailed Season 14 of RHONJ and paused the franchise. Of course, Teresa reuniting with her brother could be a bid to keep her spot on the show. Still, Melissa questioned the timing of Teresa’s change of heart. However, now it seems that Melissa has also boarded the peace train.
Melissa Gorga is “always for healing” ahead of Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga’s reunion
As for Joe, he is willing to forgive his sister if she is coming “from a humble place. It has to be real,” he previously stated. Meanwhile, Melissa seems cautiously optimistic. “I never really wanted this, and I’m always going to be team family always,” Melissa told US Weekly. “I do think, for all of our children’s sake, I would love for everyone to get to a place of healing, and I would never root for this to go on forever.”
She continued, “It’s not any way to live, and it’s no way that I want my children to see, because we need to lead by example. I’m always for healing and to be continued.” The cookie maven added, “I think it’s been enough time that maybe there’s room for conversation. We’ll see what happens.”
When asked if both she and Teresa could co-exist on Season 15 of RHONJ, Melissa responded, “I feel like we need to get there, but always the core of that show has always been family, and it is hard to imagine it without being about the family, right?” However, RHONJ producers reportedly don’t want to film a Gorga and Giudice reunion. Only time will tell what that means regarding casting the new season.
