Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice finally made peace with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga. It seems like the meeting went well, because Teresa just gave Melissa a big compliment at BravoCon.
Teresa recently shared what went down at the reunion. “It went well. Baby steps, but yeah, I’m glad it went well,” she said. Of course, the fighting between Teresa, Melissa, and Joe led to a dismal Season 14 of RHONJ. Teresa and the Gorgas weren’t speaking, so it was a mess. And the cast took sides in the long-running feud.

During the “Reunion Roundup” panel, US Weekly reported that Teresa gave Melissa a sweet shout-out. When asked who looked “beautiful” at reunion tapings, Teresa named her sister-in-law. Married to Medicine star Dr. Simone Whitmore and Real Housewives of Potomac alum Robyn Dixon were also part of the panel. No word on whether their jaws hit the floor.
Of course, the timing for this family reconciliation, right before BravoCon, may be more about securing a spot in Season 15 of RHONJ. Reports have been swirling that Teresa’s hubby, Luis Ruelas, played a major role in this reunion. Luis and Teresa have a hefty tax bill to pay, and allegedly, that RHONJ paycheck could come in handy. “He figured if she makes up with Joe and Melissa, it would give her a much stronger chance to be back on the show and save her job,” a source claimed.
Meanwhile, for her part, Melissa was open to mending the rift in the family. “I never really wanted this,” Melissa previously said, “and I’m always going to be team family always.” She added, “I do think, for all of our children’s sake, I would love for everyone to get to a place of healing …”
