Garcelle Beauvais shocked viewers by walking out of the Season 14 Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion. Not only did she refuse to pose for the cast photo, but she left her bestie, Sutton Stracke, behind. So much for their post-reunion dinner plans.
And for the cherry on top, Garcelle exited the show and blocked the main cast members, including Sutton. Recently, Garcelle confirmed that their friendship is over. For Garcelle, Sutton not sticking up for her at the reunion was the turning point.
“When she called me, [she] never took accountability for it,” Garcelle explained, which “hurt” her feelings.

However, Sutton placed the blame for her broken friendship squarely on Garcelle. And the RHOBH alum was a hot topic on RHOBH Season 15 Episode 1. All the ladies wanted to know exactly what went down between Garcelle and Sutton. At Kyle Richards’ Summer Solstice party, Bozoma Saint John asked Sutton what went wrong. “I don’t know,” Sutton replied.
In her confessional, Sutton explained more about the demise of her friendship with Garcelle. “The last time that I saw Garcelle, she was walking out on me and everybody else,” Sutton said, referencing Garcelle’s infamous reunion exit. “I texted again, and again, and again.” She added, “She did not text back.”
Then, Dorit Kemsley asked, “Do you think that for her it was more of an alliance and less of a friendship?” The boutique owner responded, “I have a hard time believing that.” Finally, in an emotional confessional, Sutton broke down. “I loved Garcelle. We were best friends,” Sutton said. “I didn’t see her as just an ally. I just don’t like people to talk about her like that,” she added as tears started to flow.
Meanwhile, the former besties bumped into each other recently. “I said hello [to Garcelle],” Sutton explained. Maybe there is hope for a reconciliation after all.
