If you were hoping to get some clarity on the Meredith Marks and Britani Bateman airplane debacle, then don’t waste your time with the latest edition of Watch What Happens Live. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star went on the show and continued to double down on her story that nothing unusual happened while the cast flew home from their trip.
Of course, the vast majority of the cast have another side of the story, saying that Meredith bullied Britani throughout the entire plane ride. According to Meredth, it’s all hearsay, and she got some support from Stranger Things star Noah Schnapp.
Noah Schnapp backed Meredith Marks’ version of events during Watch What Happens Live
Meredith and Noah were the guests on the Tuesday, December 16 episode of WWHL. When Andy Cohen asked her about the airplane drama, she went into defense mode.
Andy asked, “What do you make of the other women so dogmatically having a different story than you have, and what do you think their motive is here?”
“First of all, it’s not just a different story from me. Their stories all vary from each other,” Meredith claimed.
According to her, none of the women has shared consistent timelines about what happened. Meredith said that makes it seem like they aren’t telling the truth, and she said she never even spoke with Britani on the plane. Sure, girl.
Then, Noah chimed in with an opinion we’ve all heard a million times. He felt like someone would have recorded the incident if it truly happened.
Noah said, “Don’t you think if something like that happened that someone would have filmed it on their phone or something?”
Andy pointed out that, typically, with this group, filming each other with your phones doesn’t go over well. Just ask Britani. Either way, Noah continued with his poorly informed defense of Meredith.
He added, “If it was as aggressive as they said, someone on the cabin would have gotten involved and filmed it.“
With that, we’ve still made zero progress towards the truth. Meredith claims nothing happened. Lisa Barlow claims nothing happened. Meanwhile, everyone else on the cast is convinced that Meredith’s behavior crossed a line. It’s a mess, but Meredith has made it clear that she doesn’t care whether the audience is on her side or not. This is her story, and she’s sticking to it.
Meredith said, “I don’t care if you don’t believe me. I know the truth.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. You can stream it the following day on Peacock.
