It’s never easy being a new girl. It’s even harder to join an established group with its own existing drama. Tamra Judge of The Real Housewives of Orange County and Dolores Catania of The Real Housewives of New Jersey called out the ladies of The Real Housewives of Potomac for not being welcoming of their newbie cast members.
Is Angel Massie being treated unfairly by the Real Housewives of Potomac cast?
On their podcast, Two T’s in a Pod, Tamra and Dolores talked about how the RHOP cast was treating newbie Angel Massie.
“Do you think they’re being fair to Angel?” Tamra asked.
“No, no, no,” Dolores answered.”They’re not being nice to her.”
“Do you think they’re being welcoming?” Tamra asked again before answering her own question, “No.”
“There’s a way to make somebody feel comfortable coming into a group,” Dolores said. She added that she thought that Angel wants to be on the show so much that she’s holding back from sticking up for herself and speaking the way she normally would.
But the truth is, any Housewives franchise can get pretty scary, and for the new cast members, it can be daunting. In Angel’s case, things got even messier due to her living situation. The girls have discovered that her Potomac house isn’t actually a home. It’s an Airbnb booked for shooting, and while Angel is allegedly looking for a home in the area.
Gizelle Bryant already clocked Angel thanks to sketchy and catfish-like Instagram photos.
Tamra and Dolores touched on the Airbnb as well, and Dolores said she did the same in Rhode Island. “I extended my rental,” she admitted.
“It didn’t take long for the girls to think she’d been evicted,” Tamra said, adding that maybe it was being blown out of proportion.
Fans in the comments agreed for the most part. One commenter said that the ladies of RHOP don’t know how to be a friend.
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams the next day on Peacock.
