The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City stars often decree to each other that family is off-limits. It’s a strange balance of having to be open as a reality TV star, but still nurturing the ego by not wanting negative commentary from co-stars. That doesn’t mean that commiserating isn’t acceptable.
But when relationships are frayed, it’s all the more reason not to talk about certain topics. Meredith Marks made a decision to avoid the topic of Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley’s marriage. Or seperation that is. And she explained why during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
Meredith Marks has “no comment” on Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley’s split
“News came out a couple days ago about Brownyn and Todd separating. This is something we discussed at length at the reunion. Your reaction when Bronwyn revealed it was what?” WWHL host Andy Cohen asked Meredith.
The fashionista replied, “My reaction was ‘do whatever works for you.'”
However, there was a lot of back-story from last season. Bronwyn revealed Todd’s prior infidelity during a cast trip. Both Meredith and Lisa Barlow’s reaction was perceived as defending the tech executive.
“After what happened, not this season but last season, on the boat. And me coming under fire for trying to be supportive of her. And somehow it was spun into me supporting Todd, which was never the case. I have no comment on her marriage. That’s why I didn’t comment on her marriage at all this season,” the RHOSLC original star explained.
Meredith continued, “I made a decision. If she wanted to spin my conversation trying to help her into something negative. I made a choice after that I would not be involved in her marriage at any level.”
It’s a balancing act of humanity versus boundaries. The Meredith Marks Caviar founder admitted that she “can support” Bronwyn. However, she “did not comment on her marriage.”
