Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac showcases Eddie Osefo and Wendy Osefo flaunting their supposed wealth. The couple’s pricey home renovation allegedly cost six figures. However, a Carroll County prosecutor would beg to differ about the state of the Osefo’s finances.
As you may recall, the couple was arrested on fraud charges in October 2025. They were indicted for eight counts of criminal insurance fraud, seven counts of insurance fraud, and one charge of lying to a police officer. Reportedly, the couple allegedly staged a burglary at their home and filed an insurance claim for $450,000 in stolen property.

The Baltimore Banner reported that during a hearing last week, a prosecutor alleged that Wendy and Eddie actually “have very little money.” The state was seeking access to the RHOP stars’ business and personal records. Prosecutor Melissa Hockensmith argued that many of the records were already sent by the Osefos’ bank. Meanwhile, the couple’s attorneys claimed that the records were “private and confidential.” The judge sided with the state and allowed the subpoenas for eight years of their financial records.
Plus, prosecutors previously claimed that Wendy and Eddie had “approximately 40 credit and/or debit cards, some of which are believed to be in company names,” and had allegedly used aliases in a “deliberate attempt to mask their identity.” However, in amended court documents, the prosecutor noted that they found 67 credit cards inside four wallets, including a Chanel wallet that was listed as stolen.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Wendy and Eddie changed direction and asked to be tried as co-defendants. The couple previously filed paperwork asking to be tried separately. The judge approved their request. This is getting messy, folks.
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams the next day on Peacock.
