Angel Massie’s Colorado trip continues. And how it’s going depends on who you ask. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast have been split up between Angel’s house and an AirBnb an hour away. Questions abound as to why Angel chose to host the trip in the way that she did.
The rental house is not meeting basic standards. And the RHOP ladies are all ready to bail for better accomodations. Only Keiarna Stewart and Tia Glover were invited to stay at Angel’s house. The Bravolebrity explained her decision to split up the group during a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen gushed over the house, but he was just as confused as the RHOP ladies.
Angel explains why she didn’t host the RHOP cast at her home
“Your Colorado house is gorgeous. I was dying about it. Was there ever a part of you that thought, ‘Well let me just host them all at my home?'” Andy asked.
“Never for a second,” the RHOP newbie replied. “One, my kids and my husband were there. And originally the trip was going to be a couple’s trip. But not enough of the ladies had a couple to be in. So plans changed a few times.”
Availability was an issue. She added, “Colorado it was in the high season. And homes are taken up unfortunately. And so had plans gone originally we probably would have all been in the same spot. There just wasn’t enough big big homes left.”
Breaking the ladies “into two groups” risked impacting “the vibe” of the entire cast. Angel had the intention of keeping the ladies well occupied during the day. However, the distractions weren’t enough.
“I didn’t think it would impact the vibe because I thought that we had so many wonderful things to do during the day that we could use that as a bonding opportunity. And then have a good sleep all of us at night. I mean all of us are busy. All of us have things that we’re involved in. And I personally on a group trip love to bond, love to have a good time during the day. And then I love to reset at night. So I mean, it was really just trying to be thoughtful,” she opined.
After admitting to putting Gizelle Bryant and Ashley Darby in “the shared room” for revenge, Angel was asked why she ended the mixer and had the cast leave her house by seven thirty. She responded, “dinner was over. They had had a long flight from the east coast. They’re adjusting to the altitude and I was really just being considerate.”
So all things considered, Angel thought she was being a thoughtful host.
