Producers are working to save the Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 20. And now, a source is coming forward to reveal that their cast list is almost complete. As for the use of the word almost, reportedly, one star remains in limbo.
It’s not Katie Ginella, since Bravo has already given her the axe. So, which stars are allegedly returning, and who is reportedly still fighting for their orange? Here’s what we know.
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20 cast is allegedly locked in
RHOC Season 19 was an absolute bust. The storylines felt forced. And the feuds were repetitive and lacking any merit. For some reason, production thought letting Katie go was the right answer. But already, the repercussions of her firing are sounding.
Apparently, Attorney Kathleen Martinez was in talks to join the cast of RHOC in Season 20. But as Kathleen recently revealed, she “dropped out of casting the minute [Katie got] fired.”
So, who is returning? According to Radar Online, this answer is, “The entire cast,” minus Katie. As this source reiterated, “Yes, this means Heather Dubrow, Emily Simpson, Gina Kirschenheiter, Jennifer Pedranti, Shannon Beador, and Tamra Judge were given an orange for Season 20.”
Additionally, as earlier noted, Vicki Gunvalson is also returning to filming. Regarding the holdout, well, that honor reportedly belongs to Gretchen Rossi. As a separate source explained, “Currently, Gretchen is in limbo,” but “Some of the women on the show who are fond of her have been calling her and asking her what’s going on and if she’s going to be returning.”
As viewers clocked, last season was a “rough one” for Gretchen. However, it’s “still possible” she might return, perhaps even receiving an upgrade to a “full-time role.” But for now, “It’s uncertain what will ultimately happen with her.” Nevertheless, “there’s still a lot of drama” that Gretchen needs to hash out, “and it would make sense to do it in front of the cameras.”
